Involvement of MPs in Programmes of the Government and Budget

I wrote this comment on a post of Prime Minister of Narendra Modi.

My remarks in the Rajya Sabha earlier today. http://nm-4.com/y5oi

https://plus.google.com/+NarendraModi/posts/cAYqEm3bULU

Very good sir.

1. I think you need to ask all MPs to join in economic transformation of the country by working for a target investment in their constituency.

2. Each ruling party MP has to take care of two parliamentary constituencies. One his own and one more of his choice so that entire country is covered by ruling party MPs.

3. BJP party must have an economic cell with sections for each important economic sector and this arrangement has to be replicated up to MLA constituency level. Then the programmes announced by the Government will have better promotion in the country.

More Explanation

As I am thinking of decentralization of planning and execution of budget it came to my mind that there has to be statutory obligation on all MPs to submit Budge memorandums. Also after the budget is presented, MPs need to go back and have discussions with people of their constituencies and then submit comments on the budget.

A budget passed in parliament is the budget of the parliament not that of ruling party alone. Every MP has to show his commitment to get the best benefit of the budget to people of his constituency as well as that of country.
